No power steering on one side

I have a 901 Ford Powermaster diesel and the power steering stops working about halfway through a right turn. What should I check? Any help would be greatfil. Thanks
 
Absent broken spring(s) in the control valve, binding of the steering shaft in the sector gear box. Corrosion or lack of lubrication/wear. Steering shaft moving up or down activates the power assist. You can watch steering wheel lift or sag as it is turned.
