HI HAVE A 1948 8N FUNK CONVERISON WHEN I BOUGHT IT HAD NO GOVERNER MOTOR WAS REBUILT RAN FINE FOR YEARS STILL RUNS GOOD NOW BUT WHEN YOU NEED PULLING POWER I HAVE NONE USED TO SPIN THE TIRES LIKE NOYHING
NOW IT JUST BOGS DOWN ????? CARB, BAD WIRE DON'T KNOW ANY IDEAS

Could be anything. Id start with spark. If the spark is ok then Id look at gas flow, bad gas, bad carburetor. May have an air restriction. Difficult to say without more information.

Like Tony said. One step at a time. Do not just start throwing parts at it. Confirm you have good spark that can jump at least 1/4" then move to fuel.

Loota .Like others have said ,check spark 1/4" in open air, plug wires cracked or ends bad.Fuel flow, fresh gas, clean sediment bowl, fuel filter.Governor for smooth operation, clean air cleaner, carburetor adjustment, not flooding or starving.Try a little choke and see if that helps it.
Don't replace any parts Willy Nilly only replace them if you can prove to your self that the part is bad/defective.
