Well I had what some here called a "weak spark", so I installed new points, cap, rotor and hotter plugs on my 9N with front distributor. Now I have NO spark.
I get 12.63 volts to the coil with the key on, and also did a continuity check through the points to verify that the points were making contact properly. It is a new 12 volt coil that worked fine last week.
So I don't know what my next step should be. Is the coil working properly? Should the terminal be able to turn on the coil or did I break some sort of internal connection when I tightened the nut and the terminal turned? How can I test the coil to eliminate that possibility? I do have the old 6 volt coil and a resistor so I can try installing it.
