Recently there was a discussion on here about no till or conventional corn. The only commercial corn near me is some for silage at a dairy. I posted earlier about the spring freeze damaging his early corn and him replanting in the plowed ground. He also had some no till corn that was not up. We have had very dry weather here in SC and the no till is looking better than the conventional. Both are tassling and some of the early conventional is showing silks. None of it is very tall, maybe 5 feet.
He planted more about a month later, both conventional and no till. It looks ok, but neds rain bad to develop ears.
