So I ordered the Mobil Delvac tractor oil from tractor supply for $49.99. They said it was in. Go to pick it up and the morons shipped 15w-40 engine oil to the store so they gave me a rain check for the Delvac. For some reason I don’t think this is going to turn out well.

I ordered some parts from TSC a while back, and because I'm a cheapskate, I specified that I wanted them delivered to a nearby store instead of to my
house. It took them almost a month to get the stuff to the store. I don't know for sure how long it would have taken them to deliver it to my home,
but I decided never again to have stuff sent to their store(s).

I'll bet that if you had ordered hydraulic oil you would have gotten exactly what you wanted. They probably ordered what you asked for.

Jim .... considering the fact that they probably shipped more oil that day than you and all your friends together have purchased in a lifetime, I'd suggest using the term 'morons' is a bit over the top. So they made a mistake, big deal. Have a cold one and relax, things will get better.

What's so special about it looks like your typical Trans/Trans hyd oil to me especially for that price

These are just some of the reasons I don't buy much online. If I go pick it up in person I can get what I want or leave it there till what I want/need does come in. Though I buy oil by the barrel so no fooling around with most of these kinds of places and they deliver to the door. I just try to have a set of forks there when they come to set it right in the door for them off the truck. They like it and I don't have to wrestle a barrel around.

I have to question if you know how to order the way you are making such a case of this. You state in your original post that you ordered TRACTOR OIL when what you wanted was HYDRAULIC OIL. You must have a life where everything just falls into place for you if something like this ruins your whole day, LOL.

Sorry to confuse you by by interchanging the words oil, hydraulic, and fluid. I waited two weeks for this "tractor hydraulic fluid" to come to the store because that was the only way to get it. I suggest you follow the pictures. I ordered as shown in the photo. Considering the fact that you have over 32,000 posts here I suspect your main goal is to scan posts all day to see who you can troll and harass. Have a great day. I'm going out to spend the day working.

I agree 100%. I had no choice. Ordering online and getting it delivered to the store was the only option as no stores had it in stock.

Ordering online can be very frustrating.

Buying in person these days can also be very frustrating.

There is such a turnover in employees, and the lack of work ethic in new employees, makes buying anything quite an adventure these days.

But your way of explaining things was a bit confusing as well, as some pointed out in perhaps a bit of a harsh way.

As people on the other side of the counter get dumber, or as we have to use inflexible computer order confusion centers, it is more and more important that we are very
clear and exact on what we are saying or typing in our transactions.

If you want hydraulic fluid you need to clearly and consistently say you want hydraulic fluid. Not 3 different descriptions...... new and unfamiliar and lazy employees will
mess that up every time.

Hope they get their mistake worked out and you get the deal they were supposed to deliver to begin with!
