I did buy one new tractor in my life, but that's only because my father and I bought it together.

I was looking at a Kubota package deal, tractor, loader with grapple, rotary mower and trailer last year (Wednesday). This year will probably be a new tractor and truck (Ranger Raptor) to replace the Jeep. Last big purchases before I retire in 5ish years.

I treated myself to a new one in '19. 24 hp Husqvarna only because I got tired of adding oil and blowing up tires on the 12 hp White.
