I posted on the truck forum but wanted to get you guys to give me an opinion too.Are the fuel pump arms the same length for a 400 Ford M block engine?My brand new pump on my rebuilt engine just quit pumping all the sudden.The pump I have on it is an M6978 with 6.5-8.3 psi rating for a 4wd version.The engine came out of a 2wd truck which called for a M60002 with 5-6 psi.This is why I was asking about the arm length,I was afraid I might have put the wrong pump on.I am pulling it off tonight to see what happened.Any help appreciated.
