O.T. ? on steel Implement wheel values

Was talking when I whould have been listening, again. Volunteered to help my 85 yr old freind Joe and his out of area family sell the last residue from their family farm. It has all been in storage for 18 months and Joe says it is time for it to go.
Does anyone here have opinions on the current fair market value of 54" steel implement wheels?
Joe was collecting them from mostly horse drawn rakes for a yard fence he never got around to. They also have 15 or 20 good clean ten gallon milk cans with lids. We used to use a couple milk cans to haul water to our deer camps. I've seen ten gallon cans go for five to forty five apiece at auction.

Weigh the wheels, figure out the price thataway, then pick a number out of the air, and set a price, and advertise in the local paper. Around here that price would be at least $25.00. A tip on the milk cans: The ones that seem to have the most value to the collectors around here are the ones with a label soldered on them, with the name of the farm, and a town name. Sometimes these bring more than $150.00 around here.

$50.00 seems to be a fairly popular asking price for tall steel wheels at swap meets.

find a auction house that deals in antiques and consign a few of them at there next sale and see how things go, then by word of mouth let buyers know you have more . do you have an amish community close there is another place to look

Guys, thank you for sharing your experiences. Good advice there.
Checked the cans and none have an id plate. Just producer numbers hand painted on tops that the Creamery Co-op assigned. I can hardly believe that they are considered antiques already.
Now to try and part some folks from their money.
