Removed the pump today because of a broken cotter pin. The top cotter on the pivot pin for the lever must have come out some time ago judging by what looks to me to be abnormal wear from the control arm. The pivot pin did not drop completely out and was resting on the drain plug. The lever was jammed upward to the control arm and had to be wrestled off before I could drop the pump.
I haven't been able to find this lever online. Does anyone know of a source for this part? I would rather replace it before reinstalling everything.
