Bought this 440 a few weeks ago. It is odd in the fact that all of its ag components were removed and a large generator was added. No PTO, no 3 point, no drawbar. It has a brass tag that says "chev" Indianapolis indiana with a ID number.Generator works good.Went to replace the fan belt and found a 6 blade fan that seems to be a pusher.... I don't think this is right. Turned the fan over and now it doesn't move any air. Fins are not orientated for rear flow. I think the original fan is a 4 blade fan with rear pull toward the operator. Has anyone seen this machine before. I suppose it was built by a maintainence shop for a factory for remote power source. Here are some pictures.

I seen that on craiglist. I thought maybe it was a power unit for the air port, I didn't think about one of the factories or even the race track maybe.

Turning the fan around doesn't reverse the air flow. It just throws the aerodynamics of the fan blades off - that is why it isn't moving air now. To reverse air
flow you have to get a fan with opposite pitch of the fan blades.

What you have is a 530 with very few options. The options you have are the Bostrom deluxe seat and a wide front and maybe power steering. The fenders are early Flambeau red, or letter series. If it has no drawbar is it technically still a tractor?

It still has the hydraulics but no remotes. The drawbar provisions are still there. I have one for it. Parts book shows those type of fenders, although not raised up and cut off like those. Lol. I got the cooling system back in order and tried out the generator. Those are 1000 watt halogen lights lit up just above idle.
