I own 2 Gibson model A's. The one on the right is running/driving. Other one has a stuck transmission i haven't messed with the engine yet.

I can not help you on the toys. There are some published catalogs, directories, and price guides of rare and collectable toys, including some exclusively for toy tractors. Try shopping on this site, Amazon and Ebay.

If you want to see the real thing, try the Western Minnesota Steam Thresher's Reunion in Rollag, MN every Labor Day weekend. Several thousand tractors are on display including the familiar, oddball, dozens of operating steamers, and pre-1925 gasoline prairie monsters pulling gang plows.

I do not remember if there is a toy swap meet.

Custom Manufacturing built several models of tractors in the post-World War II period using Chrysler engines and transmissions. Custom tractors produced tractors under the Montgomery Ward, Lehr Big Boy, and (in Canada) the Rockol and Regal brands. Founded in Shelbyville, Indiana in 1944, the company was sold and production moved to Hustisford, Wisconsin in 1952. Production continued in Hustisford until 1954 when the company's assets were sold to a Mexican firm. Two of them showed up at a pull in way northern VT. around twenty-five years ago. One was a Wards, and the other a Rockol. IIRC they came up from CT. There was a fair amount of discussion about what to do with them. At least two of the locals were very knowledgeable and also wise. The decision was made that they should pull in the open or enhanced class. The owners seemed to not care in the least. Both of them when they hooked went all the way down the track in road gear.

I have done very well in my 10 years of pulling with the Sears Roebuck. It really surprised most of the other pullers in my weight class and it really surprised me on my very first pull. I have pulled in the 2500#,3000# and occasionally 3500# weight classes with much success. I have quite a few trophies that I collected over the years.

Well the ONE was head high and the other belt high. Maybe grandpaw didn't use salt on his food?
A spindly young tree was planted a number of yrs ago at the show grounds for a friend by his friend.
We were told. Gosh you guys, don't pee on it, you'll kill it. We never did, thankfully. It flourishes yet today.
Some flora can take it, others cannot.
