My 49 8n has me puzzled. I know its history back to day 1. It
isn't a frankentractor, but has had needed repairs over the
years. But...

It takes the rear seals for the improved reared. Is it possible
to just swap out the newer hubs and seals or has someone
put a new rear end on it?

nja........usually there is an un-coded casting date on the rear axle that would tell you iff'n yer axle trumpets are the early or late model seal type. You doubt? go look ........Dell
