Those loaders aren't my idea of fun, JCB designed one in England called a "loadover". The concept was for loading trucks from stock piles in yards. you drive in the pile filling the bucket and back up with the truck parked behind you. Then dump the load in the truck over the top without turning all the time like with a conventional loader. It was the idea of the day that kinda made sense to save time, but like 8 track tapes or Betamax video cassettes it never quite took off, and became a part of history.
