who makes good quality blue jean pants? i have been wearing dickies for probably 10 years now but seems like they are going with a lighter fabric. seems like every time i go to bend over to pick up something they tear out where the back pockets are sewed on, maybe i just have a fat arse but i didn't think it was that big, have split a couple pairs in the crotch too. i farm and do mechanic work so i usually windup flexing in odd ways doing something or another and that is what causes them to start the tear process im sure but once it gets started they just keep going. so what brands of pants have any of you had good luck with?

i have thought about them but im having a hard time dumping 65 bucks on a pair of pants. where do you get them? would be nice to try on before ordering a pair and having them be wrong size.

Call me cheap, but Wal Mart rustler jeans work fine for me for many years.

For work jeans I use Carhartt. They are a little more expensive than Wrangler but they wear a lot better. There is a number of styles to chose from. A lot of guys go with painter pants but I stick with plain jean cut.

I've had luck with cinch green label, they seem to be the most durable for me as I'm highly destructive. I give $32 a pair for em at horsetown.com

Roundhouse. Made in USA and about $40 per pair. I have two pairs of jeans, 2 pairs of overalls. The fit is good and I really like the material. It is a lot thicker than many other jeans I have bought. I looked at the Buddy Jeans but didn't know of anyone who had any at the time so I went with Roundhouse.
