Offset disc horsepower?

Guys I'm looking for an offset disc and a local jockey has a 14' Eeze-on offset disc, front blades at 22" and the rears are 19.5". Guy selling it says that I should "have no problem pulling it". My big tractor is a Ford TW-5 MFWD with new tires all the way around and the rears are loaded up. Personally I think it's too much disc but what do you guys think?

Forgot to mention I'm thinking I need something more in the 9 or 10 foot range?

I have a 14 foot White 281 offset, 26 inch blades. Tractor is a JD 4450 MFWD, rated 145 hp, but cranks 190. Heavy clay ground. Pretty good match.

I think 150 hp is a good number for starters. I have a 7' which also has 25-26" discs, 9" spacing, 10 discs per axle, fairly heavy frame, 2 JD 150# rear wheel weights added, 3 pt. pulling with a 65 MF4WD in heavy clay and it's a match in mid range gears.

I count at least 16 discs on that sucker with a lot of steel and road gear for a very heavy implement. Yep, 150 for my guess MF4WD.

Normally I would tell you the only place you'd drag that thing is down the road with the wheels down..... but it doesn't look like a very
heavy disc given it's sitting on 15" light truck tires... and has 19"-22" blades. If it was a tandem disc I'd say you would have no trouble
with it based on those specs. I think it will give the tractor a good workout as it is, but it's the large blades and weight that would
outclass it, not the nominal width. You may not drag it everywhere or fast but it should work.

As i thought, too much disk for my tractors.

Found a nice looking heavy 9 footer. Should do what I want and I should have no trouble pulling it.

He is right,, well kinda of you can "pull" it but if you chose to put it in the ground, like the boys said they require at least 10hp per foot to do the job right, I have a 18' offset,,, I pull it descent with my 150hp 1470 but my 220 hp 2670 handles it better for sure, a 2wl drive lacks the traction and weight to pull a big one like its meant to be used if you go over the 10 hp per foot
