Offset disk not cutting evenly

I have a JD WH offset disk that doesn?t cut evenly across the gang, not a front to back issue. The back gang seems to cut level, but the front gang doesn?t cut as deep on the closed end of the ?V? or closed end of the gang. The open end cuts very deep and the blades are a little more worn on that end. The back gang was so worn that I had to replace them, but the front are relatively good. How do I get it to cut more evenly across the front gang.

How much smaller are the front blades compared to the rear blades, about the same as the difference in cutting depth? The side where the gangs are far apart might be cutting evenly because the front axle is leveled a little deeper than the back. On the end where the gangs are close together the front and rear axles are pretty much always at the same height. Replacing the front blades on the close spaced side of the disk might be a way to fix it, although you might as well replace all the blades on the front gang while you are in it that far and then set the disk to run level again.

Despite what you said about front to back, I suggest that it may make a difference. Adjustment of the level affects the open end more than the closed end as those blades are farther away from the total center of the ground force than the closed end. Give it a try. Jim

?Relatively good? is not a dimension. What is the front blade diameter? What is the rear blade diameter?

Honk Back is new and 22 inch, front is 22 on close side, 21 on open side. Back sits perfectly level across, front rides out of the ground and sometimes doesn?t touch on the close side and runs about the same depth as the back on the open side. There is some up pressure on the front, but not a lot. I wasn?t sure if the angle of the gangs might have something to do with it. I really don?t think the wear on the blades is enough to make that kind of difference.

matched tires on both sides? psi set accordingly, I have had to set one side lower than the other to get a even front gang cut,, also most offsets you can slide the gang side to side,, if this is not set correctly they will dig in on one side,, setup many many discs new and fixed as many others with cutting issues,, also if you have the angle set wrong they can do this as well, this of course is only good info if the frame, gang mounts are all correct and not bent, been broken and welded up wrong,, there is other factors but these are the most common I have found

Mine has the angle of the V welded into the frame....not adjustable. You can read whatever you want into that as it is a heavy duty unit, 22" discs and very well built. Was it to build it cheaper.....don't think so. Was it because of the angle being important......probably. I know that the front and rear have to track each other properly for the lateral torque on the drawbar to be equal and keep the plow running true. If you ever made the mistake of buying half a one way, three point mounted, you'll know what proper balance and offset torque means. (Educations cost money and I have spent a bunch trying to learn the trade.)

Could be leveling if 3 pt or if tired and running them partially in the ground to control depth, or if weight isn't distributed, or blades are different front to rear, or side to side.
