oil and fluid for wd45

Do I put the same Hydraulic oil in the transmission plug and the Hydraulic plug .. use the SAME FOR Both ??? and then 20 weight motor oil for engine. Tractor is a WD45

I would recommend a multi wt. oil like 15-40 diesel grade oil because it is thinner in cold weather and thicker when the engine is at operating temp than a single wt oil is at either temp. The multi wt. also has better engine additives for stability. Jim
 
The transmission on WDs and 45s is separate from the hydraulic system. You can use 20 weight oil or tractor lube, or hydraulic oil in the hydraulic system. It's the
small cap/dipstick on the left of the hydraulic area. The transmission has 3 drain plugs to drain different sections and two fill plugs and calls for a 90 weight gear
oil. Don't forget the final drives. You have to remove the pans to change them, they take 90 or 140 gear oil.
