Oil Cap with Star

I have an old hay tedder with cast iron oil caps. The caps have a star cast into them. I couldn"t find any other identification except for part numbers, which all start with a "P" such as P123. I could send pictures or you can see a picture of the tedder in this forum under Hay Tedder. Any help in identifying it would be appreciated.
