I lost my oil dipstick brush cutting. Can anyone give the measurements, length of the stick, and markings. I can make my own. Thanks.

Which dipstick the engine or the Transmission?
if it is the Transmission, the oil should JUST run out of the bottom hole on either round port cover when the level is correct. If it is for the engine...what engine do you have?

tony,

The length of the stick from the bottom to the top of the sheet metal"lid" or the stop, is 11 & 3/16th inch, I don't know how big you want to make the finger loop. The low or add mark (mine reads danger) is 13/16ths from the bottom, the safe operating range mark is 1 and 15/16ths of an inch above the low mark and is marked full, the over all length of the stick including finger loop is 15 and 13/16ths of an inch. The stick this info was transfered from is a 1959 TO35 gas with a Z134

hope this helps
