Oil Filter Adapter

I have a MF-150 with the Continental engine. It has the cartridge & can type oil filter on it now. I'm wanting to change it over to a spin on filter. This site is showing an adapter kit (part # s.42809) for a 150, anybody know if it will work on a continental engine or is it for the perkins engine.

just think about that,
is it located low on the side of the motor block
if you never enter the woods with your tractor and have the possibility of the front tire kicking up a stick and hitting the thin wall spin on oil filter you should be ok

but a busted oil filter body can run out all of your oil, maybe before you know its busted,
just thinking outside of the box here

note how heavy built that original oil filter housing is, was made that way for a reason, as they installed them so low on the side of the motor block,

my old AC d-14 had a spin on filter long ago, but it was mounted high up on the side of the engine.

Exactly what I did with 135, thought what a wonderful idea, till front wheel kicked up a limb that punched a hole in spin-on oil filter, luckily I caught it just as it happened and shut engine off. I quickly went back to canister, cartridge style filter.
