Is there an oil filter available at auto stores or Walmart that fits a 2N with the old steel housing and bottom drain?

The number 1010 comes to mind.......WIX perhaps... there will be others also......

yes, i buy my filters at my local auto parts store. sorry, i don't have a part number for u - i just tell them i need a filter for my 2N.

PUROLATOR 120701 is one choice. I had to special order from an auto parts store. Went ahead and got 2 while I was at it just to have a spare on hand. You might be able to cross reference to another brand.

Yep, the NAPA is a 1010 where the Wix is a 51010. Also there is an APN-6731-B.
