Can anyone tell me ware I can find an oil filter for a cartridge filter for mm motors? Agco quit making them, none of the parts places can get them anymore. Is their a change over kit to change them to spin on available? It"s sad that they quit making them. Thanks Jeff

Hi 1950g,
NAPA makes a replacement and their part number is 1111. It comes up at their PartsPRO SE website using the exchange search.

WIX Filters makes a lot of M-M filters. You might want to plug in your tractor model here to see what they have...

Hope this helps!

I can"t find any at the local parts stores either, they say they can"t get them. The Wix site lets you select MM tractors but if you select U or G/GTB, etc. it doesn"t list engines that match like a 283 or 403, it only lets you get more modern engines to choose and they don"t use the filter cartridge that we need. Now what?

A fellow in TN is making adapters for spin-on filters. He's selling them on ebay for $40 +shpg.

I have oil filter adapters for the R/Z engines to use a spin-on filter.

Gee, I don't know what to say...maybe some of the of the people listed at this site might be of assistance

The spin-on adapter suggested above might be the way to go.

Napa made by wix is no longer making them, agco, baldwin no longer makes them. We are a Napa parts store and machine shop. We collect MM tractors. We are currently making an aluminum adaptor for a spin on filter. Hopefully have it out in a few weeks. I will post it on here when we have it available. Thanks.

The filter spin on adaptor we are making is for the 283, 403, U and G tractors. Will post something on here in a few weeks when we have them ready.

Have you tried ebay? I found 2 for my "46 R. I probably won"t need them both in my lifetime, but I feel better having a spare.

How much do you want to pay?
I've Googled "Fleetguard LF543" and a few sites are selling them, or at least they say they are.
They might be more than the adapter filter, however.

I recently bought mine from New Holland- they have them under the fleetwood LF543 and they are for an Old Case I remember.

thanks for all the replies, I will watch for the adaptors. I wish they would have made them when I was still using moline power units to irrigate with. It would have been so much simpler than the cartridge. I have a pair of U's and a G that I need the filters for. Thanks again. Jeff
