Hey Forum Dwellers!

Gotta replace the original 1/8 steel oil gauge line.....cant find any 1/8 inch line and my flaring tool only goes to 3/16ths....any ideas.....I hate the thought of using a copper replacement line with compression fittings......if I could find some line and a flaring tool......thoughts??

Go to auto parts store & get a steel brake line that will fit & bend it to work. Just be sure the fittings match yours. Good luck, Rusty

Is your tractor newer than an 8N? IIRC, the N's used 1/4" line with inverted flare fittings. (Same a brake line.)

The newer models used 1/8" with compression nuts.

I couldn't find 1/8 inch brake line either.
I could find copper or plastic for a gauge.
I ended up cutting mine where it was bad and using a
compression fitting to couple it back together.
If yours isn't too bad, maybe that would work for you too.

sunpro makes both 1/8 copper and nylon oil line.

If I use the copper.. i runit thru a piece of 3/16 fuel hose for vibration resistance.

got one on my naa been there since 2000 or so...
