I was wondering if anyone could tell me what to torque the bolts to on my oil pan for a TO30? And also I ordered a gasket and I was wondering what the two other little cut outs were for. I'm sure I'll see as soon as I drop the oil pan, but I was just curious.

Taps goes at back next to transmission housing. They don't seal pan just
keeps it level with pan gasket.Cut out on tap goes in edge gasket. You
will see when it comes off as you say.

I think the same gasket is used for a TO35 z134 motor. Those punch out pieces are used on a 35 pan which is cast and heavier made than a 30 oil pan. I don t think they are used on a z129

Thanks, I do believe your right because I dropped the pan and didn't see anywhere those things could go. And after putting everything back I have NO leaks and my oil doesn't turn black right after I change it like it did before. So all is good.
