Oil pump kit

Just about ready to pickup my motor from the shop. The shop ordered a new oil pump kit, know one of the gears just slides off, but not sure what problem I will have removing the other gear. Is it going to be a problem? Thanks for any info.

The gear can be easily driven off with a vise, hammer, and punch. Reaming the new bushing is a bit more challenging. See the How To (PDF) for details. Unless you are up to that sort of precision do yourself a favor and have the shop rebuild it for you.
