Old Ford?

Got chance to buy a old tractor. I think it s a ford, Had wheat sheave and gear design on hood plate in front. It's 3 cyl diesel with Simms pump. It's about the size of 8N. two shift levers one appears to be high and low range. Tach down near top of transmission Temp gauge up under steering wheel. No data plate that I could find. Does anyone have a clue about this tractor? It was painted a bluish gray years ago. thx

Sounds like a Forson Dexta Diesel.

By your description, its a Fordson Dexta. Great little tractors, with amazing power for their size.
