Junior is a '74 Power King doing wagon duty. Grandpa is a '56 MF with a Ford loader. Cleaning up ash deadfalls and lots of 'em. Not factory fresh, they have their aches and pains and battle scars but not ready to retire yet.

My brother in law had one back in the 80's .... no idea what model or year, he was German born and his childhood friend back in Germany shipped it to the east coast here and drove it across Canada on his way to the Yukon on an adventure. It was originally a military communication wagon which had been coverted into a holiday camper. It had a transplanted Audi five-cylinder diesel engine I remember. The owner had a number of issues here in Alberta during the trip and my BIL ended up with it and had it for years. Eventually sold it to some guy and the last I heard it was parked somewhere in the bush in these parts. Someone painted it turquoise blue, not a great color for such a rugged truck.

I like it. Pulls really well and came with chains for the rears. Helps on my hilly terrain here.

Here’s one parked on the far reaches of a sheep farm in Iceland. I discovered it on a trek to the neighboring glacier. Looks like they put it with other equipment and machines they hope to forget about permanently.
