My old M is acting up, we were brush hogging and after a half hour it started choking. Seemed like it couldn't get gas. Had lunch went back out and it ran good for amother half hour and then it started choking again, acts like it can't get gas. Pulled the choke, didn't help. I would guess if it was a gas problem it wouldn't act up just when it's hot. Could it be something with the air intake?

I agree with other's ideas - but just to add something else to think about - water in the tank.

Sometimes driving on rough ground mixes it up with the gas - and it'll get through to the carb.

Wait a while, and the water will settle to the bottom of the glass and stay separated and the tractor will run fine.

Kind of a long shot, but it's happened to me before.
