old plow

Any ideas on what make this old plow is? Don't see any name or numbers on it. Sure a lot more than I can pull engaged with either of my little tractors. Do scrap yards take these old implements?

Looks to be a model C or CH case plow with the EX style
bottoms. They are a very good plow and a collector might
want them or a plow day person. Dont scrap it!

PLEASE don't scrap it!Looks like a good
solid old plow.Plows like they are on
high demand.It will bring a good
price.Lots more than

scrap.Somebody will want it to use and
pay good money.

Don't recognize that model, but it
definitely ain't scrap. Advertise it as
unknown plow at $100 a bottom. Better than
scrapyard price and a deal for somebody
looking for one.

Not that old is a hydraulic model or been converted. Trailer plows are the best. Just to far for me and to small for my use.

Connor has it. Model CH J.I.CASE. I would guess mid '50s for manufacture.

The only thing scrap yards will not take are intact tanks. Explosion hazard.

They may dock you for the tires. Time you pay for the fuel to haul it to scrap and tire disposal fees, you may end up with nothing.

Even if you sell it for $100 you will be money ahead. The person comes, pulls it up on their trailer, hands you $100. You do nothing. No fuel. No time. No travel. Can't beat it.

There's a field not far from me that has a rock wall sort of thing in place of a fence. Been there for decades and is just a bunch of rocks piled up.

These rocks are what's left of 2 story rock barn my grandpa built. Still got some pretty square corners on it. His side of family built a lot of rock barns, houses, fences and wells around this county. He always said "never had much money...but had a lot of rock".

That's a Case plow. I sure wouldn't scrap it. Just list it for sale and it will go. My grandpa had one very similar we sold on his estate sale in 2002. Sold for
$500.

I agree on not scrapping the plow. The hitch doesn't resemble any John Deere moldboard plow I've ever seen
