Oldest Tractor

1927 IHC that I bought non running. I sent off for a rebuilt carb, old mechanic friend of mine came out to see it. I gave 4 or 5 pulls on the crank and the old gal started right up. Old Joe told me it had an aftermarket manifold on it along with a Heisler govener. I took it for a ride, the first rock I hit with those rear steel wheels, almost tossed me over the side of the tractor.

Also have a 37 WC.

Its really my son's tractor. (I bought it for him) He wants to keep it in its work clothes.
Fine with me.
Has 17 tires in front.
I had to replace one of the front innnertubes after we bought it in 2009. The old tube had 17 patches. Probably because of during WWII when rubber was hard to come by.

Oldest I have is a 39 9N. My grandfather bought it new. It wasnt as big as he wanted so he gave it to his father to cultivate with.. As a very young kid I ran it to pull the hay up to the mow via the hay cart.

Thought I'd win this one easy with my late 20s McComick Deering 22-36 but I see there are plenty older. My oldest working tractor is the 1953 Cockshutt 50.

Guess I'm not in the running. My oldest is a 1941 H Farmall. Also have a '44 H, '45 M, '52 H, and a '62 D19 Allis.

Currently 1945 BR, restored 20 yrs ago. Oldest one owned in the past was 1929 1020 McCormick.
