Oliver 1365 power steering not working

It is a fiat tractor with cylinder on side and power steering pump on front of motor. How do you check or add fluid? I don't see a reservoir so is the pump system all that holds oil

Open the hood. Look for a round steel cylinder about the size of a coffee can. On top is a hex head plug. That's the filler port and dipstick.
