The steering adjustment just below the power steering motor is stuck, any suggestions on freeing it up?

Can you be a little more specific as to what you mean by adjustment? Are you talking about the latch that pulls out when you step on the foot pedal?

Yes, the latch that pulls out when you step on the foot pedal. Stuck solid.

Is the plunger/pin stuck or did the J bolt that hooks to the pedal break? All there is to that is a J bolt to the pedal and it screws in to the plunger. The plunger goes in a hole in the casting and has a spring under it. You'll have to pull the fuel tank to get to it, but if it truly is stuck, just spray your favorite knocker loose oil on it and work it loose.

The plunger is stuck, J bolt intact. I tried juicing it with the fuel tank on, not a good method.
