oliver 1800

Bought a non running oliver 1800. The front wheels are turned a little bit. i tried turning steering wheel and it dont turn can i put a pipe between wheel and spindle to turn it or is there a easier way? Will it turn if you started moving it?

I have used a pipe. Taking some weight off might help too. Hopefully someone else has a better idea.

Best thing to do would be to jack the front end up to get the weight off it then you should be able to turn it with the steering wheel if the system still has any oil in it. If not that will allow you to bar it around easier if need be.

definitely take the weight off it before trying. I wouldn't wrench on it with extreme force. looks of whatever you use to free things up
