Oliver 1800

Hello all, is it possible to find out which dealer a tractor was sold at with the information on the serial tag?

The reason why I'm asking is because I'm trying to help my grandfather locate the Oliver 1800 that he grew up on. We found one within a few hours of where the original one was sold in 1974. Unfortunately nobody has any of the original paperwork from when the Oliver 1800 was originally purchased.

The museum in Charles City would have the build card and I think it tells which dealer it was shipped to from the factory. I’m sure some of the guys will chime in soon that have gotten a build card as they will be able to tell you for sure.

I guess you would need the serial number for that to happen and I’m assuming you don’t have that.

No not yet but we are going to try to get the number from the man who owns the Oliver. If he gets it I will post it on here.
