Oliver 1850 Steering Shaft

On my Oliver 1850 the steering shaft/column from the steering wheel to the place it has splines has worn out. The splines are stripped. What do I do? Any parts available? Put a piece of tin can in it to shim it? Ideas? Thanks folks!

Or welters farm supply in Verona mo
Both have used parts, and will help you with new parts.
Cook tractor parts , here in Clinton MO, may have some used parts....
