Oliver 1850

I need to replace the water pump on a 1850 with a Perkins diesel. I looked it up on AGCO and it must be showing one for the Waukesha engine . I found some if I look them up for a Perkins engine. My question is are they the same if I look it up for the engine versus the tractor? I know they show 2 shaft sizes but is there a difference in length? Thanks if anyone knows!

With those part numbers you should be able to shop around.

The number in the original parts book is 159493AS.

That’s the one I seen but that’s not the right one. This is what I have.

What's your tractor serial number? Do you have a replacement perkins engine out of something else?

Not sure about the engine but starting to wonder. I’ll have to get the serial number I’m not around it right now. That picture I posted which is exactly like my pump except for the shaft I’m not sure about is listed for a 1100 MF and some other MF

Yep. I think it's a Massey Perkins pump. You'll probably have to order one of those with an easy return policy in case it's the wrong one.

Mine has a combine engine in it. I'm almost positive I had to use the tractor water pump because the combine pump was different. I sure wouldn't go by engine serial number.

Yes I agree , there should be engine numbers too.
Father in law has a combine motor in 1755.
Two Perkins in 105, I think they found one of those water pumps were different too. GG Wes

It does indeed look like the pump Massey used with the 354. Google 'Massey 1105 Water Pump' and see if those pictures compare. If it is that pump, A&I makes one, and pretty much every ag dealer orders from A&I regularly.

Take a look at this link below. If this looks right, you should be able to take that part number to any local dealer and tell them to order it with their next A&I order. And because most dealers order from them regularly, they can probably return it if necessary (might be a small restocking charge).
