oliver 430 combine

In the post below "Ready for the Custom Run" I posted a picture of my Oliver 431. The 430 is the next size smaller with a 12 or 14 ft. header. Should fit on an 8ft. 6in. trailer with no problems. Some of the drive tire will hang off. I have a set of racks to make the trailer wider and safer. Height should not be a problem. Fold the radiator screen down. If it has a cab it will be close on overpasses but should clear most of them. The header is easy to get off. Not as easy as todays one point hookups but a lot less trouble than most.

A good tandem axle gooseneck trailer will haul one home. If it's a little too tall let air out of the tires.

It will look like this 431 only smaller.

From the 430 brochure, storage dimensions (I assume this means with the rad screen folded down): w/184x26 tires Height - 10'3"
Length w/header - 24'5"
Length less header - 17'
Width (less header) 10'1.5"
These dimensions would be without cab.
By the way Roger, nice pictures of your 431. My dad and I each owned Cockshutt 431s years back. Good simple machines, had good capacity in their day.
