Oliver 440 hydraulic fluid

Good morning everyone, I just finished rebuilding an Oliver 440 and trying to decide what oil to put in the hydraulic system. Much older threads tell me many opinions. The owners manual states Automatic transmission fluid Type A. I cannot find type A fluid and wondering if anyone can tell me the newer replacement fluid for type A. This is a rare tractor and parts are non existent so want to be cautious about what I use. Any help would be greatly appreciated, Bill.

Personally, I would use the newer tractor fluids in it, but there are still some sources for Type A ATF. I still use it in my collector cars:

I use universal trans-hyd oil in my old tractors including my 880. I've been using that for over 40 years with no problems

Thank you all for your responses, many choices here. The ABRO type A looks like a good brand. Has anyone purchased their products before and had good results?
