I am in the process of restoring a 1962 Oliver 440.
Looking for brake shoes-should be the same as a Cockshutt 20. I have two completely broken and another with some band metal worn off.
Also want to confirm that to replace the brakes on the left side it looks like you need to seperate the axle housing from the transmission case to get the brake shoes off. The IT manual I have only states to remove the top and bottom covers, the attaching hardware and springs and remove the shoes from the top. This worked great for the right side but cannot do it on the left.
