Oliver 480 Spreader

I have two spreader but want to sell one. Does anybody know how much or approx. how much my Oliver 480 spreader is worth?

I know of a guy that would buy one for pulling behind his tractor on tractor rides. I doubt those spreaders command much more than 50-100 bucks anymore. Is this one usable yet or not?

Hey, I been looking all over for an Oliver spreader to use for my horses. Is that a 3 beater spreader?

Guess it depends on where you are- zillions of horse folks around here, and the only implements they need are a brush hog and a manure spreader. Spreader like that, in usable condition, routinely brings a grand around here at auction.

A retired implement dealer and his grandson did pretty well for several years, buying old spreaders with bad wood, replacing the wood and painting, then selling to the horse folks for triple the money.
