Oliver 5003 running gear

I'm rebuilding a hub on my old Oliver running gear. My John Deere dealer had the bearings and races, but when we found the correct size inner seal (2.3125" OD x 1.25" ID) the price jumped from a $3 seal to $23 plus shipping. Can anyone point me to a less expensive option? Wagon is used sparingly and lightly. The spindle has a few grooves in it also. I plan to smooth those out as best I can, but only so much coin to throw at this old relic. Thank you.

As long as you got the dimensions,i would try car quest or NAPA, but it still going to be close to $8:00-10:00. It was for my Schwartz front end!

I have rebuilt several running gears in my parade wagon hobby and always have replaced grease seals and usually the bearings and bearing cups. Grease seals almost always are more costly than the bearings and bearing cups. I've found the best prices at NAPA and Amazon. Go to Amazon and enter the grease seal identification number. Compare those costs to NAPA and any other source you can find - usually online. Enter the grease seal identification number in Google and you'll probably find a number of sources. Compare prices.
