Oliver 550 Distributor.

Good day all! I have not been here much other than lurking. Sooo... now that I need help lol. My 550 distributor broke or wore out the two tangs on the bottom of the drive gear. I am having zero success finding any replacement parts. I would gladly buy a new or reman unit & drop electronic ignition in it, but I not finding anything available. It's Delco - Remy 1112463 3G 3 unit. Any help or advice is welcomed. I love the tractor and really want it back running.

That drive pc. should be held on with a pin that will just drive out. You should be able to find one to replace it easy enough as Oliver used the same drive tang driven off the oil pump for just about every Waukeshaw. There were couple variations as some have a tach drivegear but either can be made to work. The other alternative would be once removed from distributor shaft you could build the tangs up with weld and have it remachined. You do know the tangs are slightly offset from the center line? If you want to buy a new distributor I believe this site sells them.
