Oliver 60 overheating

Got the Oliver 60's clutch fixed so I can drive the tractor down the road. Now it overheats when I drive it for over 5 minutes. Does not seem to overheat running in the driveway. Today I removed the radiator, removed the upper and lower cast iron inlets, removed the water pump. All seems ok, new hoses and the radiator will hold water overnight. I think it is timed correctly. I did notice that I had to pull the choke out half way to make it run right. I have cleaned the carb once. Is that enough to make it overheat? Am I missing something else? Thanks again. Dan

As long as you have the radiator out, block off or plug the upper hose tank connector and pour water in top tank at cap opening.Water should run out of bottom hose fitting as fast as you dump it in.Are outside of fins clean and straight?

As far as the carb, did you try adjusting? If no difference by adjusting, there's probably a plugged passage in carb.A good soak in commercial carb cleaner will clean it out good.Followed by water rinse and blowing it out with compressed air.Make sure float level is right on.
