Oliver 70 gen. wiring

Helping a friend replace wire on 41 oliver 70. Only has 1 wire going to the generator from the light switch to I think the f term on gen and jumper from a term to cut out relay. Is this right or can somebody post wiring dia. Thanks

It's correct.

The light switch should have a resistor on it. When the switch is off the field goes through this resistor to ground to limit the output. When the lights are on the resistor should be bypassed so the generator output is full. The generator output can be set with the third brush in the generator.

The cutout should hook to the ammeter and the other side of the ammeter should hook to the battery through starter switch.
