Oliver 77 Orchard Tractor -

My husband beautifully restored a 66 and 77 Orchard tractors. He passed over 6 years ago. The tractors are resting comfortably in my barn. I am ready to let the 77 go but have no idea how to find current market value. Any ideas?

For me, I would google "Oliver 66 tractor for sale"
You will get adds and past auctions for such. With asking prices and for sold at auction prices.
You can get an idea of what they go for compared to the condition of what yours are.
I am guessing you are in the upper midwest, having an orchard model?
Aumann Auctions, an hour southeast of Springfield, IL has a good reputation for auctioning vintage tractors.
You might consider that to be a good, painless solution.

This forum also has a Marketplace for classified ads.
And you could also mention your desire in the Oliver Tractors category in the forum also.

Might better post this on the Oliver forum below. Pretty rare tractor, but the 66 would be more rare. I don't suppose you're in Michigan are you? Art Smith had an auction for Jim Arends over by Ravenna two months ago. I didn't go, but somebody told me what his 77 orchard brought, but I don't remember now just what it did bring. The Oliver guy who told me said it had some reproduction sheet metal on it and wasn't the best restoration ever. I don't know if Art has an auction results feature on his website or not. I'm in Michigan. I only have one orchard Oliver. I MIGHT be interested if you can decide what you want. To tell the truth, I'd be more interested in the 66. I have two 66 Row Crops, so the orchard variation would be nice to have.

OK, ya, that's the one. I was thinking it was a 77. I found it too on Art's site. I was thinking Terry had told me $5500, but we talked about a lot of the stuff that sold that day and I must have been thinking of something else or remembering wrong. He said that was what he went to the sale for, but it just needed to many corrections to make it right.
