Oliver 77 paint questions

We’re working on a mid 1951 Oliver 77. I’d like it be fairly close to original and have some questions. I did not think that the hood center stripe should be yellow on this tractor, but there are some remnants of yellow paint under a couple coats of green. Should the hood stripe be yellow? It has front cast wheels. Should they be green or red? They are red now, with no visible green underneath, but it’s been painted several times. On green/white tractors I have always used new unpainted bolts to attach wheels to tractor. Would that be correct for attaching wheels on this tractor?

51 should have yellow frame stripes, but not a hood stripe as far as I know. The big hubs should be red I believe. Rear hubs and small front hubs would be green. Bolts would be unpainted galvanized. I've heard stories of having kids working at the factory for summer jobs, and if they were sitting on their hands doing nothing, they gave them a paint brush and sent them out to the lot and had them paint hubs red, so nothing is set in stone.

Someone one time did a great write up on the 66/77/88 paint schemes and changes during that period. Maybe it was one of the magazines. I don't remember a yellow stripe.

I know there were some with the yellow stripe on the hood, I've seen pictures, but Dad had a 1949 66 that he already had when I was born in 55. That one never had a yellow stripe, so it makes me wonder when and just how few had the stripe.
