Oliver 77 Standard Spindles . . .

Working on replacing the spindle bushings on my 77. Several internet searches have not yielded any information!
I was able to get the welch plugs out, but to remove the spindle pins, there is a rivet driven into a blind hold that engages a relief cut in the pin. How in the He** do you get that rivet out? Anyone have experience with this - I see pics of restored Standards, so what's the trick?
Also, the bushings are available, but super expensive (over $50 each). It looks like McMaster-Carr 6391K554 will work if I drill them for grease.

Hmm on my 66 orchard the pins go through and are peened over. One side it looks flush and it’s hard to see.
