Oliver 77 Std - Wont Drive

Good day,

I have a Oliver 77 Diesel that wont drive anymore. I am able to place it in all of the gears but when I release the clutch it does not move. The belt drive also does not work. The PTO does work. With the tractor not running, i can make the belt drive spin when the tractor is in gear by rocking the tires forward.

I am new to this, thank you in advance

Observe the driveshaft between the clutch and transmission. If it is turning with the clutch released and the tractor running, the splines connecting the cast iron driveshaft coupler to the transmission input shaft are stripped out. If the shaft is not turning, most likely the hub of the clutch plate is busted out. The previously mentioned spline failure is common on older Olivers with lots of hours.
