Oliver 770 Block Serial number location

Does anyone by chance know where the block serial number is on a 58-63 oliver 770? Serial tag is missing off of mine and Im trying to get the build card with the block serial number but Im not sure if Im looking in the right spot. I have the 3 numbers off the carb side of the block but i don't believe that is the serial number.

Should be stamped in a flat spot up by the generator mount.

Maybe> early ones are stamped by the rear block flange. 3 different casting numbers were used on 770 tractors. Block casting numbers are by the starter, Send nw an e-mail with that number an I will get you closer

Randy: Early ones for about the first 3 years were stamped on the back flange like a 77 & 88.
