Oliver 770 hp advice

This is my Oliver 770 gas it?s my newest pulling project and I was
wondering if any one had any advice on how to get more hp out of
the stock motor

Easy is tune it out on a dyno. Any other improvement involves money

I would start with a 320 cu in motor.Makes a 540 or so. Generally there will be somebody at the big pulls with a 320 for sale. But Waukesha made a 425 most were diesels, but a few were Lp or Natural gas. In the fast classes that is what you are up against. Your stock motor with high compression pistons is good enough for 3 mph.

It does look awfully big. But thats the In thing for a Oliver. Anything will bolt in a Oliver right! My son has one laying in his shed.

Lol most all I?ve seen are 310/320, although I?ve heard of people sticking 292 Chevy engines in them
